Well, I supose it's hard to self-summarize in a way that doesn't sound completely lame or narcistic but I will give it a try...

I grew up in a small town so I have a strange mix of small town values and liberal beliefs. I'm sarcastic and cunning, and enjoy an intellectual challenge. I like dressing up for work, but love getting home and putting jeans on.

I supose I am just a mix of a country girl and a business woman. Perhaps that's a bit confusing, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

I consider myself very open-minded, and I'll try just about anything once! I like relaxing every once in a while, but I rarely can just sit still. I strive for something better, something more. This is not to say that I don't think things are good enough or that they never could be, but I'm not satisfied with just letting things lie if there's a problem. I usually like to be in comfortable situations, but it's good to shake things up every now and then. Besides, you'll never learn or experience anything worthwhile if you spend all your time being cozy with the way things are! Gaining new and insightful experiences is a big part of what motivates me. The other big factor is taking care of and protecting the people about whom I care. I haven't really had a whole lot of luck dating or knowing people on a more intimate level, and it's a little discouraging. But I want to know what it feels like to be genuinely loved and cared about in more than just a familial way.

Other things about me: I am very much a nerd. And/or a geek. I am proud of it, and I have wholeheartedly embraced it. Star Trek, video RPGs, anime, the list goes on. I'm the type of person who, even when baited into responding in a way that will reveal my nerdiness/geekiness, will respond just as people anticipate, even if they only do it to get a laugh at my expense.

I am probably too generous, forgiving, and just plain good for my own good. Sometimes it annoys me, although I wouldn't change it. From my own perspective, I have a bit of a dichotomous personality. On the surface, there's the me that I show to everyone. Underneath, however, is the me that's tired with being so damned good all the time. I want to rebel against that other me sometimes, throw it all away, let it all go. There's something of an internal struggle, both sides competing for dominance. But they are both integral parts of what make up the mind, body, the very individuality of the being you see before you. And that, I wouldn't change for the world.

I am the type of person perfectly content to stay at home on the weekend and reread a book or watch a sensationalized episode of 20/20.

Yet, I love being outside and now that Michigan has thawed I am excited to get out there and enjoy the sun. (but not too much... I am a redhead, after all!)

Well, let's see, I never really liked this boxes because I don't think you can really get to know a person by reading a paragraph. Basics I guess, I am 20 years old and am majoring in Japanese Studies with minors in Business Administration Marketing and Music. I am a very fun-loving, down-to-earth kind of person. Nature inspires me, and that's where I'm happiest. Whether it's in my kayak on the lake, picking strawberries in my garden or taking a country cruise on a sunny sunday afternoon.

I like comics! I know, a girl that likes comics? ODD. But I do. I haven't read anything new lately, but I keep meaning to. I've been collecting the entire works of Crossgen comics. And if you know what Crossgen is, you get some series bonus points.

I'm freakish in that I love to clean and organize, though my room can get quite messy before I've decided that I NEED to do that.

I collect...a LOT. Trinkets, postcards, books, posters, storage boxes (But that's mostly accidental), yarn (also accidental), sunglasses, headbands (you can never have enough), bears, Halloween decorations, posters, and a vast amount of other needless things. But they take up relatively little space in comparison the the sheer AMOUNT I have. I also end up collecting hobbies- like knitting, crafting, painting, cooking,Web design,photography BAKING, Oh I love to bake! I also collect soundtracks and if you ask my friend Kristy, people.

OH, I name inanimate objects. That's a quirk, but I'm quite alright with it. I forget things a lot. I lose things like it's my career choice. But I always eventually find them. I'm really good with maps and directions and getting UN-lost. My BFF <<redSHU909>> refers to me as Meg-Meg when I navigate for her. (like the Tom Tom GPS)

I have a life goal to be referred to as Eccentric. I take that as a compliment.

Most importantly, I like myself. I don't especially care if YOU like me or not, though I wouldn't mind if you did of course. I'd also rather have someone hate me than TOLERATE me. My personality has become such that you either love me or hate me (though large amounts of people harbor quite a fondness for me) I like who I am entirely. I'm also the same person at all times. I don't pretend to be someone else, or to like things I don't like. I won't act. So there's a level of truthfulness of character you don't often encounter in someone.

My real goal in life is just to have fun with my life and enjoy it. I like to try to enjoy everything, and get out and do things that I enjoy. It's a bit harder without much money, but I do what I can. I also love driving and traveling. Vegas is pretty much the most awesome place ever!

I'm a freshman at Adrian College right now. I am originally from Horton, Michigan, which is just south of Jackson, and about 45 minutes away from Adrian. I graduated from Hanover-Horton High School. Horton is a really small town. And kind of a "hick" town I guess you could say. I'm definitely a country boy. A lot of my friends from Adrian call me a redneck...but whatever haha.

I am a martial arts freak =). I was in Tae Kwon Do from 5th grade until my senior year in high school. I still practice it, but am too far away from home to comute to and from practices. I also was in wrestling from 8th grade until my junior year...would have been my senior year, too, but I got hurt and had to have knee surgery.

I love athletics and working out. I have been in several sports throughout my life. Basketball, soccer, baseball, wrestling, Tae Kwon Do, and Track and Field. On the track and field team, I am a thrower. I also throw here at Adrian College. I am pretty good. I hold the school record for both shot-put and discus at my high school. I plan on breaking the discus record at Adrian either this year or next year. My dream is to go to the Olympics.

I am a pretty outgoing person who loves to hang out with friends and have fun! (don't know many people who hate fun...) I would like to think I'm funny and I love to sing classical opera and play violin (even though I'm not that great at violin yet). I'm officially addicted to Werther's candies and Mountain Dew. I need a twice daily dose of caffeine to survive and I love to go out and have fun/dance. I don't know if I'm a good modern dancer, but I love old fashioned dancing. I tend to find more enjoyment in taking a walk in the woods or in a park than going out to eat or getting gifts. Time spent with someone is worth more than all the gifts in the world. My name is Meghin. I'm 18 and a freshmen in college. My majors are International Business and Spanish (I have been learning Spanish for the past five years now, and now I am just studying it to get a degree and further my career opportunities). At this point in time I am living with my best friend and interacting with my family pretty intensively. I'm looking for another job after an ordeal with my last employer. Getting by with my wit and good looks (certainly explains why I'm starving O_o). I'm the eye of the storm at any given time, an easy going stoner surrounded by a dramatic maelstrom. And now you've stopped reading, but I'm still going to talk about myself.

I live in the rural outskirts of a semi-rural town. I'm accustomed to smaller places and love not being bothered my cloying congregations of cretins (nice alliteration... high five self). I frequently split wood, plant crops, preserve and prepare what has been grown, and enjoy several other self-sustaining activities. My best friend and I maintain our house in an eclectic fashion hobnobbed from hill folk, hippie, and geek philosophies.

I would like to come back to my education, which has fallen by the wayside, and continue majoring in environmental science. Now I just have to figure out the way, but oh do I have a will...

I love biking, and walking. Convenient then that those are my main forms of transportation. I love the feeling of getting around on my own steam. When it is warm I am rarely found in a car, preferring to bike though it may be more time consuming. I also like to play around with frisbees, darts, billiards, soccer balls, and punching bags.

I read voraciously and am usually plugged into some sort of music. I cook whatever comes to my mind, usually it results in a beautiful meal (occasionally I create singularities that crush entire galaxies O_o)

As for what I am looking for; I want a best friend with benefits. Someone that can goof on people all day, exchange witty retorts, enjoy good food, enjoy bad food, sit and watch a movie, tell me when I look like shit, and fuck my brains out. Blunt enough you think? I want a relationship that is based on caring for one another on a personal basis, not just for what one can do for another.

I am a currently a college student attempting to make it through my last year of school. When I am not working, attending class or doing homework (which happens very rarely), I am hanging out with my friends or visiting my family.
